SINUS CONGESTION

Sinusitis is the infection or inflammation of the lining of the air-filled cavities in the skull.

These cavities are located above the eyebrows on the forehead, on the eyebrow line, behind the nose and cheek bones. They drain into the nose.
The most common cause of acute sinus pain is a viral infection of the respiratory tract which leads to obstruction of the drainage of these passages.

The difference between a cold and sinusitus : nasal congestion and other symptoms of a cold begin to improve within 5 - 7 days whereas the symptoms of sinusitus last longer and may even worsen with time.

Some of the symptoms are :
* Headaches
* Black rings under the eyes
* Blocked nose and/or runny nose and/or post nasal drip
* It can make you feel down

During the head massage the sinuses are manually drained and pure essential oils are used that have been especially mixed to help decongest them.
